I strangely liked this car, for a bit. Still wouldn’t buy one, but I like anything that’s “different” and is an against-the-grain choice in a segment, compared to its competitors.

Now let me know if you see a K900! Hahaha, still haven’t seen one of those ever.

Hyundai Genesis R-Specs with the 5-litre V8 go for under $30k CAD now, so I can’t imagine the Equus being far behind. However, I would much rather have the V8 Genesis.

I have seen actual cars in actual person with them before and just thought kia threw them on the earlier cars to hide the fact its a kia. Its even more lame when people put them on intentionally almost as bad as these mazda badges

i fucking hate that they made new badges for them. i know cars very well and even i was stumped for 0.2 seconds the first time i saw a genesis sedan now i see they did it again on the equus. stop fucking doing that. there is an unwritten rule that the brand logo goes in that spot. new models dont get new brand labels stop trying to hide your badge. you drug your company into the ground building econoboxes dont try to trick consumers by hiding that familiarly awful badge.be honest with yourself youre a hyundai. thats ok but dont try to be something youre not. the same could be said for ferrari putting ferrari badges on dinos back in the day. dinos were awesome not ferrari awesome but still awesome dont try to hide that. and the same goes for all the fucktards that put jdm toyota badges on their SCION frs. youre not in japan youre car isnt rhd why does it have a toyota badge. you bought a scion, own that shit

I really thought Kia re-did their logo to try and be more edgy and cool. But no, just a silly KDM badge. The JDM on Scion’s is pretty terrible.

Granted my chrysler ribbon got replaced by a Gengar... but thats because it got blacked out and I didnt want a black circle on my trunk.

You can get these for pennies on CarMax. My wife and I added it to our “list” of what to really look into buying when she gets back from her deployment.

I have a 530i with the sport suspension. I also have 350 empty miles between me and any major city. I don’t need to “feel the road” or anything like that anymore. I want to be as disconnected from the outside world to soak up as many miles as i can before i lose my mind. The Equus is perfect for that.

2013/2014s with less than 50k miles are going for high 20s - mid 30s on Carmax. And they’re niiiiiice inside.
